Hello, my name is Anna Junghans and I’m a professional Personal Trainer / Coach from Australia, now living near the coast of the Costa Del Sol and providing services in and around the areas of Fuengirola, Torremolinos, Benalmedana, Mijas, Calahonda, Marbella and Coin. With me, what you see is what you get, I’m a real person, a mother of a beautiful teenager and the wife of a wonderful husband who is also a (615) 570-0175.

 

My physique, although not skinny and defined like a supermodel is the best it can be, I do what I can by training HARD, focussing on strength plus performance, eating healthy and enjoying life. There has been a time in my life where I focussed on physique only and competed in bodybuilding, featured in magazines, been on TV, been there done that, for me Strong and Athletic is the new Skinny! I’m fit, healthy and happy which is all that really matters to me now, I’m no longer out to be in the spotlight, I’m here to shine the light on others and fulfill my genuine passion of helping others reach their full potential through my years of expertise, knowledge and real life experiences.

I’m very passionate about nutrition, I look closely at what I feed my body without obsessing about it. Nutrition plays a major factor in my life and that of my whole family, including our beautiful French Bulldog Macho Nacho, even he gets the nutrients and fresh food he deserves.

In my younger years I’ve been grossly overweight and been a yoyo dieter many times over. I do not believe in dieting anymore, I believe in finding out what works for you, as everyone is an individual and there is no ONE SIZE FITS ALL approach that works for my clients. My philosophy is to get a good balance of fats, protein and carbs on a daily basis is the successful path to health and wellbeing plus long lasting results. Personally I eat a good balance of vegetables, fruits and lean proteins, and I drink a good amount of water on a daily basis. I do like me treats every now and then, but I try never to make a habit of it and believe that if you train smart and hard, you deserve to treat yourself.

I constantly thrive for new knowledge by reading, watching videos, participating in courses and workshops as I believe it’s always good to keep yourself active mentally, I continue on learning more and more about myself, nutrition and training. Some people tend to judge a book by it’s cover and ask me “why aren’t you lean and skinny?”, I can choose to be skinny and lean, but grumpy and mean, or I can choose to be the healthy and happy version of me which nature intended me to be, I chose the later.

I practice what I preach to others with nutrition and training otherwise I would never feel right about myself, I love to put myself through the paces of challenges so I know exactly what my clients feel, this includes the pain and suffering of a hard workout. I love being competitive, the joy and thrill of finishing something you never dreamed you could do, finishing a WOD, coming first when competing against other people, being pushed to my max, this is what I live for.

 

Don’t get caught up with digits on the scales, it will only leave you feeling depressed and very de-motivated, step off the scales and start using photos, measurements, looking at how your clothes start fitting better and/or start using calipers to chart your progress.
